Geoff Palmer Bio
Some punk bands closely follow the blueprint established by the Ramones, which is perfectly fine. However, occasionally, a band emerges that does it a little better and a little differently than its peers. Geoff Palmer and his band are one such group. Their songs are short, expertly crafted, and filled with ultra-catchy pop melodies. They are loud, humorous, and fun-loving—simply put, they create great music. “We make up songs for the good times; we make up songs for the bad times to turn them into good times. We create songs, and people sing along—at least I hope they do!” Palmer says, and indeed, the audience does join in.
In 2019, Geoff Palmer launched his solo career with the album “Pulling Out All the Stops,” released through Stardumb Records. This album earned critical acclaim and garnered global success among fans of power pop and punk music. Originally from Portsmouth, NH, and now based in Madison, WI, Palmer first gained notoriety as a member of the punk band The Guts, known for their album “Let It Go.” He has collaborated with The Queers on “Everything’s OK” and “Punk Rock Confidential,” and he is a founding member of the garage rock and power pop band The Connection. Throughout his career, he has played key roles in the Kurt Baker Band and The New Trocaderos, consistently showcasing his talent for catchy songwriting.
Over ten of Geoff’s songs have been recognized as the “Coolest Song in the World” by Little Steven Van Zandt, a legendary figure in rock and roll radio. His music has been featured on SiriusXM’s Faction Punk channel 314 and The Underground Garage channel 21, reaching listeners around the globe. His work has also been highlighted in major outlets like HuffPost.
